UK SYSTEM: Woman gives birth on pavement 'after being refused ambulance'...
GOOD MORNING, IT'S WEDNESDAY.
While countries like Japan, France, Germany and others are getting out of recession, South Africa is diving into the deep hole. Where is Nigeria? COSTCO, WALMART declared good turn in hard times. When will we see retail stores like TESCO, WALMART and the likes in Nigeria. With a 150 million people, good National average buying power, windows into 5 West Afican countries, there is much wonder what investors are waiting for. Everybody needs everyday items and will gladly go into a Mega, mini or average store (particulaly a well known brand) that offers value for less. Doing all your shopping under one roof will definitely appeal to Nigerians. Foodstuff, toiletries, etc. I guess the other banks in Nigeria will wake up, encourage local investors and foreign technical partners to come up with a model. Pending when that happens, I guess we have to drive over 100km to get that comfort in the only South African company that dared to test the grounds. Or … go into the local market, take into our lungs the filthy unhealthy air, soil our feet in the mud, guard our wallets from pick pockets, and much worse..... Today is another day, another life verse, another opportunity to change things around us for the better.
